well guys the "CF" ebay bar is not that bad the 22 feels very rigid, untill a friggin kangaroo launched iteslf at the front quarter. 2 days of rego!! i must have pissed somone off last life-time
What are peoples opinions on the top plate.. Is using 2x bolt holes good enough? Or a round plate that covers all 3 is the way to go?
IMHO 2 holes is enough, main reason being as it prevents a rotation around a single nut, and by clamping onto two the bar is always held in position. You gain even force distribution because it is also clamped to the strut tower and strut top...

That makes the construction a far bit easier.. No need for laser cut top plates.
Holy thread revival batman! Hey I just mistakenly ordered the whiteline unit only to find it didn't fit. Looked cracker in the chrome and silver too
What are the solutions for this guys, any off the shelf items yet?
cheers

Nath, what does it foul on?
I grabbed one of these a few years ago for my TA22 with the 3TGTE: https://technotoytuning.com/toyota/t...ce-ta22-celica
It ended up fouling on the intake plenum and piping. With a bit of planning, this should be a non-issue with the new plenum!

Hi Mate the whiteline one was too wide and the holes for the strut tops are different. I think I will try my luck with the techno toy tuning one price seems good. The whiteline one looked fantastic tho, I was tempted to just get some new strut tops cnc'd and cut and re polish the bar.
