    Default Strut Brace Stock AE86

Here's how I fitted a strut brace to my stock standard spoontah...

I used the Cusco brace on my son's spoontah (100kw 4age) as a pattern. Cost about $20 in steel plus some welding time/gas. The air filter box is a cut/shut from a Mitsubishi Express ending in a pod filter.

I know... why bother with a 4AC? I have an 86kw 4age lined up to go in later this year - the car is used for autocross, khanacross, hillclims, etc and daily transport.
Don't force it... use a larger hammer.
If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

    Thanks guys...

What did you use to cut out the plate?
Oxy torch, and my trusty angle grinder...
