Ok, so i couldnt wait till tomorrow night to see how the cheap strutbar fit, and so i went out about 5mins ago to test fit it under the light of the street lamp and my dolphin torch.
Here is how the unit came:

And the "CF" (im not convinced) underneath:

So its pretty bling, we have established that. But what of how it fits. Well....
I just chucked it on there and lined up two of the holes on the passenger side first giving this:

And then lined up the bar and the other side:

So it fits pretty well, as currently both ends are screwed all the way in, so a bit of unscrewing and it will fit.
However the bad news comes in the fact that anyone with a POO engine (2TC in this case) wont be able to fit the bar without an aftermarket air cleaner. The stock filter box fouls on the brace. Ohwell, not a big issue.

Sofar it looks pretty good, height might be an issue with the taller 7AGE in there though....

LOL - thanks for getting the pics up so fast!!!

Doesn't look too bad for a cheap strut bar.

The T3 one looks pretty good, but is a fair bit more pricy too. I'm leaning toward the T3 type (or custom), so I'll probably save the pennies

Yeah, it is pretty good for a cheapy. So far as i can see it bolts up directly, which is really quite scary.

Looks pretty good. Do you have any idea what the ballpark cost is/was to make?

Probably just a difference in clearing customs dude.
We ordered them at the same time, and mine was left for me by the postie yesterday.
Could also be that AusPost is slower to Qld than Adelaide.
