Out of interest, what kind of life should you see out of these replacement bushes?
I put some noltec ones all through the RA28..
The rear trailing arm ones after about 5 track days (150 laps of wakefield that'd be). Probably 4000 - 6000km street driving.. Few spirited mountain runs.. They are totally shagged, the metal tube through the centre can move around a good few mm.
Is this acceptable? Or does that sound premature?
Just thinking that the original toyota ones looked better after 25 years than these noltec ones look after a few years.

Yeah I am almost regretting getting rid of the original Toyota ones.
But then the control arms and radius rod bushes etc are still fine.. Just seems the trailing arm ones have taken a hammering and not stood up so well.
Stupid question but did you use grease?
On the 4WD stuff have found that to get reasonable life need to drill pins and put in grease nipples to get reasonable life.
Original rubber mounts have no friction movement as rely on rubber flex for movement where poly ones move on the crush tube.

Yeah they were greased. But must admit I was slack in only applying it when installing. I didn't reapply.
