Nolothane is a brand, not a type of plastic.
The company is, or at least was, owned by Alan Nolan, who raced sports cars in Sydney. His bushes are made from polyurethane, and they may or may not have the same production techniques as other brands.

LOL was waiting for that! how many times has that been said!
Bill keep late sept open as we are doing a state round in the big girl for the first time in two years. even with old fredy driving{65} it should eat them alive and he hasnt raced since hitting the wall at sandown at 220km/h, 3 years ago. It was a big G hit and thank god for space frame design, still had a foot to go before the firewall bars

Will do mate. Are you at Eastern Creek on the 18th & 19th by any chance? I'll be there for the sports car nationals. Hoping for 1:37's out of the old racer.

    Yeah, but mine's 1.3litres!
We're hiring a lock-up garage for the weekend so keeping the car there isn't a problem, thanks anwyay.
(unless it's your workshop, then I should leave the racer in there, so it soaks up the Mickness of the place and goes faster anyway. )

Yeah, I was also going to say...

There a a zillion different types of Polyurathane even!

I've been told that Superpro bushes are softer than nolathane, I was under them impression that they did this to target the wider market that worried about NVH!

    Cheers

Yeah i was going to say, this is what confused at the start of reading the thread.
When i was looking around for suspension bushes, Nolathane was recommended to me as good company, that make polyurethane bushes..haha. I went with Mackay Aus bushes instead though.
    Kind Regards,

sounds like a bit of a product selling ploy to get you to buy the 'good ones'

"we are a few of the places that sell the good ones....so dont go elsewhere and buy the 'bad' ones"
