Can't quite tell from the posts where the club car is at. Is it going to be running an EFI version of the 18RC?

Hey guys,

Starting a new thread here instead of track talk so the Melbourne boys and girls don't forget about us.

There is not much time before the 6hr (17th and 18th of October), but we need to start planning early. There is plenty to be done. Alot of it is car preparation and testing. There are also presentation things to be done(T-SHIRTS/Race stickers/Club Banners), game plans(We learnt alot last year), Club car need to be finished off.

We need find out who is interested in participating and who is interested in helping out. If you wish to participate, you need to organise a basic cams license - which is dead easy. Just join any cams affilliated car club, fill out the L2S form on the cams website and pay your 95 bucks! (It's valid for 12 months)

Please post here if you are interested. We will have two teams - Depending on interest of course - Last year we had a classic celica team and an others team. Maximum of 6 per team. Each team really need a manager to organise the team, a few time keepers, someone responsible for the timing board, plus a few helpers to line up cars, help do on the spot repairs, help us have fun on the Friday/Saturday night.

Hi Ian, spoke to Eddie this morning, I should be right to go, I can supply you with all the information you have requested except I cannot confirm my CAMS Licence number as I used to have a National Rally driver licence but Im just renewing to a 2S. Will send through my details via a PM. Car will be ready, I just need more of an idea as to the requirements for scrotumeering etc...

Hey guys, thought I might mention I'm going to start filming anything related to the 6 hr and our two teams, cars, drivers, volunteers, meetings, problems. I want to make a short film recording the buildup and the actual event itself. I have access to a couple of cameras but, if possible if people feel like they want to contribute footage/recordings/photos, please take any footage you like with a phone video camera, voice recorder or better and I can edit it all together afterwards. I just need to sort out some in car cameras for the track footage. Anyway, it's a side project...
