I think you've pretty much got the essential costs right. There will obviously be petrol costs, food, accommodation, beer, etc. All that extra stuff adds up quite quickly.

The logo suggestion is good... I'll try it when i get home.
I did another couple of variants last night. 1 where i dropped the word "racing" and then centralised the sun to the remaining words. 2, i just added a little Japanese flag to the example i posted, to fill the space after "racing".
I'll post them all up when i get home from work.
