Rex confirm this, He did it today also.

As stated above the complete T18 tailshaft is the correct length and fits in the back of the K40/50

The T18 handbrake cables, and brake line fit perfectly also.

The T18 diff also appears to add some track to the rear over the stock KE70 Borgie (U-series?) by eye it looks like approx 15mm either side.

If yer lucky enough to find a T18 Anti-RollBar diff then the ARB fits perfectly also

If not then getting handy with a MIG and angle grinder does the trick perfectly. I know many people who havnt been able to tell the difference between my T18 diff with cut off S-series mounts to a stock ARB bracket diff. Then again, the welder who did that one was top notch.

Non Sequituer. Stepho's site indicates U series rear end for other-market production but that doesn't mean there's anything U series about the KE70 Borg Warner diff. Quick google search is inconclusive as to whether the KE70 Aus Borg Warner sedan and TE72 Aus T series rear end is different track/width or not.

Also as a side note, different engines and transmissions in various E70 chassis were paired with a variety of rear ends on a global basis. ie. AE71 panel van (Aus) with leaf S type differential (like Aus-delivered AE86), CE70 (Europe) sedan with S series rear end behind 1C diesel and W50 trans, and TE71 GT and Levin specification (Japan) with 2T-GEU and T series rear end.
