Wiper motor control relay, wiper motor itself or bad contacts in the stalk switch.
I had this issue with mine and never seemed to resolve it.
Might also want to post in the MA61 owners thread in general car talk.
I have a MA61 supra, its got retractable front window wipers, as in when the wipers have finished they retract back down to get out of the air coming over the bonnet. The problem is that they have just stopped retracting and when i put them on full they stop working altogether, if i turn them off half way up the window the will stop in the middle of the windscreen. I sure someone else has had this problem, i thought before i start ripping things apart i'd try my luck as you guyd haven't failed yet
Thanks

I'd put my money on that. If you take a peek at the contacts on the stalk switch, its amazing how much crap builds up over 20+ yearsOriginally Posted by BlackSupra

Thanks

I have much the same problem, I have replaced the relay, motor twice and the switch with proven parts and still have the problem. The online Toyota Service Repair Manual explains how to check the wiper motor at gnusx1.net/supra/library/TSRM_MKII/index.html. I will post when I eventually fix the problem. Good luck.
Funny how you and Glenn had the same problemOriginally Posted by 1983supra

There is a copper track on the large nylon reduction in the wiper motor itself which keeps motor running back to park after turned off. this should be getting power all the time regardless of switch position. Have also had motors that the tracks and contact have worn out.
