    Default 1G-GTE ECU question....

Hi guys.... I mentioed a bit back that I have a Mines 1G-GTE ECU for my Rev 3 engined GA-70 supra....

I noticed on the side that there was a screw on cover with some kind of adjustment pot under it, I assumed it was some aftermarket Mines add on, and controlled either the fuel cut, or the rev limit....

However looking at my stock rev 3 ECU it has the same adjuster!!!! Does anyone know what it is???? do the earlier 1G-GTEs have it too??? No pics I am afraid as my camera is dead

When I removed the cover I noticed there was a white mark painted where the knob was set to, only guess you play with the knob and see what it does

I'll double check my Gen3 ones later on. Perhaps I missed something, they're both from auto cars.

i've seen something like this before on a early nissan E15T (ET turbo ECU)
if you turned the dial around it actually put the ECU into diagnostic mode
it had two LED's to go with it though and they would flash a sequence which would mean codes
not sure what this is for though.
