    Default ecu question

I want to gain a little more control over my 3sge, I have looked at the digital fuel adjuster from Jaycar, I have also seen some piggyback fuel & ingition adjusters on ebay, just wondering if anybody has any knowledge of either of these? any advise?

I wouldent really suggest it unless you have changed some majorish things like cams or CR. I have a Wolf 3d on my pretty much stock 3SGE and while it is nice to look at, it means that it doesnt like the cold at all, doesnt like the heat at all and is a hell of a lot more tempremental than it would be with a stock ECU. However I believe some of the piggyback comps are getting pretty good, I cant see how they could be bad, no total control but hell not all of us want grumpy drag cars.

Any piggy back should not affect cold start/idle etc too greatly.

It should just adjust the certain sections of the rev range you want it to.

If you like to tinker, and can afford to accidently do some damage, then get a Jaycar DFA and a wideband o2 sensor, and go play.

FWIW WindeX any wolf made in the last 3 year should not that the problems yours has.
Go spend some money on getting it tuned correctly, or play around with it yourself.

The only difference between my motor on aftermarket, and on factory, is that I dont have a high cold idle.
Apart from that I get a lot more power on aftermarket, and it works perfectly.

    just be careful
they could end up costing more than a microtech in the end

if there is alot of fukin round

ive never been one to use piggy back ecus

plus im not being rude but on yr 3sge u will spend alot and for little gain

unless an engine is forced induction then bang for yr bucks is not as big
