    it sounds like a goer to me !

    If the std rods are off set then i dont see much of a drama with it. The rods you are replacing the std ones are obviously stronger ? + you gain in stroke ?

    The only thing i can pick on it is the fact that the rod bolts will no longer be in the centre of the cap BUT they will retain their centre line to the piston / bore.

    I agree with OC .

    ED can you post a pic of a std rod so i can see the offset side of things and how the factory rod is designed ?

    shit ah !! I thought stock 4age rods were weak as piss !!! until i saw them . The early ones look good but then i think thet realized that with the amount of material they used in a set of early rods they could use that to make two sets of the later rods !!............ Damn cost cutting

    they did the same thing with the 4age too ( early GZE rods were thicker)
    Anyway on a serious note i think you are on a winner ed !!!
