well if you give me the measurment or an engine that has the same bearings i can give you and acl part number for them! acl are better than the toyota ones so you get better bearings!
Just out of interest guys, can anyone confirm if toyota grading seets for specifiying engine bearings are the same for all engines, or are they engine specific???
I cannot get hold of a 1G-GTE specific grading sheet for love nor money (toyota can't help, although they will happilly order the correct bearings if I can get the correct grades...
Does anyone on here have any experiance of them????? I don't really want to go with universal "one size fits all" unless it is my only option....

Why are ACL bearings better? The only reason I wanted to stay with toyota is because the bearings are graded to the crank/rods/block to keep the tollerances as accurate as possible...
The mains are for 54.991 mm crank diameter ones, 22.03mm wide no.1 and the 19.02mm wide for the rest, The Big ends are 43.993mm crank diameter, and approx 17.03 mm wide. AS the rods and block are still at the machine shop, who seem totally unable to source bearings, I can't measure their i.d.
If I had a toyota grading sheet I could order the exact sized bearings easily and not worry about them being slightly out "one size fits all" bearings....
If that makes any logical sense lol![]()

Cheers guys...
I know B/E bearings do universal ones;
Mains MS1420 STD @ $ 54.97
Thrusts TW1402 STD @ $12.11
(prices in NZ$) they do the big ends too but I don't have the parts number... I can't get those in time to build my engine anyway, so I thought if I can try toyota and see if they can deliver a bit faster... either way I'll be cutting it all VERY fine!!!!
Kinda daft that toyota can supply the parts, but don;t have the litrature to tell me exactly what parts I need them to supply me!!!

Toyota Australia doesn't keep stock of any Jap import engine manuals, so can't supply this info.Originally Posted by Karma Supra
