    couple of things :

Is / how much fuel is in the car ??

I wonder if it could also be o2 sensor related ?? ( just me thinking out loud )

14.7 is the optimum air to fuel ratio higher ie 15 - 16 is leaner and lower than 14.7 is richer.
This doesnt mean that the o2 sensor should say 14.7 all the time if its tuned correctly as most cars will need to run in the 13 s and even as rich as 11s on heavily boosted engines for saftey !

theres just under half in the tank, ill find out how to send these fotos over from my laptop and show u guys how the log is going ... its getting as high as 16 a/f like i said before at 3000rpm

anyhow tomorrow i am going to rip out the fueltank and change the pumps around see how it goes then

    thanks

    hmm

You have to check fuel pressure as its hard to go any further until that one is ruled out as not being the prob.

Have a hard think . IS there anything ( i mean anything !!!) you have changed recently ??

clean injectors , change fuel filter , changed alternator , belts , sc oil , battery , Put nevo on with idler pulley

I started having these problems before all of this was changed it was a slow build up to now..
It started when i got this recharge light on the dash and the altenator shat itself.
I know its was a coincidence but thats the story

hint! boost dosnt mind a bit more fuel! so ratio's under 13-1 will make more power and give you a saftey margin and a bit of cooling

looks like i might have to take it back to the tuner and get him to dyno tune it again. I hate wasting money a second time when you already payed to get it tuned

Hey guys... The problem is still happening ill try to give it one more go to find out if its mechanical or sensors...Its happening to randomly now ,sometimes i can drive the car no problems then boom " Car start running like shit " stuttering, reving bad again and cant accelerate.Still getting this rapid reving sound "burburbur sound" as i accellerate and sometime it cant find its idle and sometimes its fine.... Its weird one, i made this video so you guys can help me out as much as u can ..
As u can see in the video it doesnt do it at first then soon as i go around the bend ull hear the car chugging burburbur sound...So its to hard to determine whats causing it as its not constant. Turn volume up loud to hear noise properly thanks

i'll vote on fuel pump... could be a loose wire somewhere (looking at the pump's electrical or relay).. *just thinking out loud from experience*.. or the pump itself is fubbared and doing shit..

also look around the car's electrical system, ECU , ignition, to see if there are any loose wires that should be tightened down and grounded properly.. then u can rule out electrical issues.

but from that video all i can tell is u plant your foot down.. it chugs... wants to rev but sputters.. then it revs hard anyway.. and from this ur engine isn't getting one (or more) things occassionally... the Supercharger seems to work seeing how it pulls hard..

could also be a mapping issue related to the point where the the supercharger is activated and the engine is starved of fuel? how is the supercharger activated and what is the map around it like? (again looking at MAP pressure against RPMs)..

could be a spark issue... i.e. dizzy is failing, contact points, rotors those things need looking at and if u're using DLI ignition i'd look at ur ignitors, coil packs etc etc...

or could be a fueling issue i.e. the engine is starved of fuel and causes that sputtering sound.. a FPR (sticking out the bonnet and facing you it's visible) will eliminate fueling issues.. and rule out your fuel pump and fuel delivery..

hope this helps.. and yeh is me thinking out loud..

in the post on the first page u presumed that your ignition is fine..

DON'T ASSUME!!! get the stuff bench tested at least.... coils and packs can act fine at idle.. but during acceleration it can show that gaps "holes" .. i.e. at certain voltages it won't fire properly.. then you can confidently eliminates your ignition having any issues

Sounds very much like an electrical problem to me i.e. plugs or leads, coils etc. etc. Get these parts tested as Vios-GT_07 suggests.

oh yeh... i should've also mentioned that i've experienced this a few times, and on two of them... one was because the fuel map was wrong.. the engine needed more fuel but the map was showing a linear curve, where it should be richer at that point.. i.e. it was lean at that MAP v.s. rpm point..

the other time, the car was running out of fuel, and stuttered for a bit.. just like that... followed by a stall 10 metres from a fuel station..

I was having a similar problem with my GZE. It would surge and choke when i went over 5PSI. I changed the fuel filter and it went away 2 days later! Been going strong for tthe past year. Take it to a mechanic and get them to plug in the dialysis machine

No I have a Walbro sitting here! That was the next step.....

OOPS i just read that you have already done fule filter.

    Next stepo is the pumpo

lol dialysis is good if your gze looses renal function but i worry about mechanics that need to use an analyser on an engine from the 1980's era! there parts swappers
