Yeah - I thought that might be better than collecting pebbles at the end of the event.. at least you can just leave it there.
Although if the seagulls find that there's a free feed at your car display you might be shooing away birds the whole weekend!

Team Integrated (at AutoSalon) had a good idea with the pool salt around the cars. You can buy it in bulk and spread it around.. kinda looks like snow/ice..

    things to look into..

Meh, if I come along I wouldn't have anything, I'm more of a park and just leave kinda person. Plus if I did do something like that I think the turbo would attract more attention than my display . Will let you know soon Damo with how this engine build is coming along

    Japanese theme sounds good Damo.

I'll see what I can come-up with too.

Rob - it sounds like you are pretty interested in the OST display.
Are you sure you aren't gonna enter with us?

There are a bunch of trophies. Just you have to remember the company we are in. Perth WRX will oviously be there so there go 1/4 of the thophies. There are some pretty mad hot-rods entering as usual.
The best things any of us have a chance at are the events as we all have fairly light cars that have a good pwr/weight ratio that win us things like go-to-whoa, salom, etc. There is always the dyno comp Tristan (WTF Auto's MR2) made 400+ last year and he's got a new engine on the way. So unless someone has a 4cyl that can beat that.....
Though there are awards like best engineering etc that don't always go to a hot-rod. The 'sound-off' comp might actually work this year.

We could always have our own trophy comp between us and those scummy supra clubbers LOL. We have the numbers to do so if we want. even if it's just a nicely printed certificate.

Can anyone make sushi?? Have a OST family lunch with japanese style food on the weekend...

I can ask, there's pretty much just Mitch.T and Ian that aren't involved as yet, and I'm not sure if it's their cup of tea. You've got Luke and myself, and Matty as a maybe. I can see if Andrew (Skyline) is interested, but I'm not sure.

    Thanks Gene..

If only we could get a few more of the maybe's to become definates - we would have a nice crew on display.

coFF33 - if your car is gonna be ready by Western Salon - then surely it'll be ready for Motorvation 2 months later?? should I move you to the definates pile?
