Hi mate,
I had a machinist swap an 18RG rotor onto my T series oil pump shaft & he also then made me the 12mm spacer for the main pump body.
Cheers,
Jason
Hi. I have a used 2tg oil pump and a new mellings 18RC oil pump, I remembered reading about fitting the 18RC rotors in a 2TG pump, but can't find info I saw a number of years ago. The outer rotors are same od and same offset to inner rotor but 18RC shaft is to short. Anybody know how to swap over shafts. The lock pin holes in inner rotors are in different positions when sit inner rotors beside each other and line up top face of the rotors.

Hi Jason
Thanks for info. Wasn't sure if I could do it myself. I do have access to some machinery and alloy for the spacer.
I could not see myself doing the job properly with just the hand tools in my shed hence I took it to the machine shop. I have kind of forgotten the exact points which convinced me that I could not bodge it up myself...
Cheers,
Jason
