think you made ur decision already lol..
Hey all, dont like the aristos water pump setup. I'm not using the original radiator so the hydraulic pump will be of no use. Can i use the aristo water pump and just plug the hydraulic oil side of things off or will it kill the pump not having fluid in it? Or the other idea I had was just say to hell with it all and go with a Davies Craig 80L hour electric water pump. Yes i could fit a supra pump without the hydraulic shit but if i'm going to buy another pump i may aswell go electric i reckon.
This is for a non registered drag car.

i concur..
If in doubt, drift her out! Steer from the rear! less traction, more action! simple!

Nothing wrong with the hydro setup.....think you maybe been mislead on the workings of them.
I don't want it in my engine bay. Its going to go into a ford falcon. Too late is out and buggered already. Sourcing supra parts already.
Your choice in the end....More trouble and effort going the alternate option that's all.
Yeah its all sorted, bloke off here has sourced me a pump, housing and perhaps a pulley. I already have the EL falcon twin thermos so i'm sweet.
I used 1JZ soarer water pump and belt for my conversion. and i already had a aftermarket pully set
