Ae101 jdm levin needs new shocks

Hi

my son's ae101 jdm levin needs new shocks..can anyone recommend a particular brand/model? His car does not have Super Strut suspension.

Are the JDM levin shocks common with any Australian delivered toyota? it would be lot easier to source if they are.

any assistance appreciated.

Non-superstrut shocks/springs will be the same as the Australian-delivered AE101/102s (and probably the AE112s as well).

KYB Excel-Gs are the standard aftermarket lowered shock, decent performance and won't break the bank either.
