I think he means pair. If you want new, expect to pay, they're not cheap!
I have KYB climbgear and Espelir springs fitted to my AE111 BZG superslut, sits nice, quite firm. I also fitted new camber arms(small arm, and for what you get quite dear!) I got my shocks and springs new off Yahoo Auctions......before the dollar crashed :-)
yes i did lol
do you know were i could get them from
Talk to KYB in New Zealand if you want strut inserts or replacement whole struts. KYB Australia don't stock or list them, and can't get them in either. (some stupid way the company is set up).
For new suspension arms and ball joints etc, get a contact in Japland or somehow get in contact with Toyota Japan. I got a complete set of linkages and ball joints for almost a third the price including shipping of what I was quoted from Toyota Australia.
For lowered springs, King Springs to suit the ADM version of your car etc will fit. I have them installed in my AE101 Levin. Gives a much better stance.
you won't have any luck getting front superslut shocks from an auto parts shop in Australia, try specialized parts importers but expect to pay, they are not cheap.
Try nengun, greenline etc currently on nengun they have TRD street shocks for superslut.....$925aus EACH (NOT including freight to Aus, wether or not people like nengun is irrelevent, I'm showing that front superstruts ARE expensive)
try Yahoo auctions, I wouldn't recommend second hand though! I got mine from a parts warehouse that advertised on Yahoo auctions, excellent price and a guy I know put them in his container when sending parts to Aus so I didn't have to pay freight charges.
The legendary Tokico HTS102's will fit if the dimples in the strut housing are pressed out.
Just try to find a set of the HTS102's.......
There is a Bilstein insert that will fit too, but I'm not sure what part number it is.
bilsteins can be made to fit anything![]()
p/n prob p30-0385 but im stabbing at the dark on that one
contact a dealer in nz the rrp for $168nz here.
KYBs here dearer
beaware that the superstrut spring seat height on the front is higher than no s/s
so a non s/s spring wont lower a s/s car as much
go for TEINS, kings.... well yeah....
I DONT WORK FOR TOYOTA ANYMORE
please, no more PMs!
second hand 102's![]()

Now try to find a set of new 102's....
For my suspension rebuild, I'll probably just be going straight to TRD coilovers.
The only manufacturers of superstrut coilovers that I've seen or had confirmation of manufacture of are TRD, GAB and Tein, and only TRD and Tein are available new AFAIK.
sweet thank for that
i've bought 2 sets of brand new HTS102's in the last 2 yearsOriginally Posted by TERRA Operative
