see if u can bring up some diagnosis codes n see if it brings up anything else..um check every around that would connect ICV... or if ur very unlucky that ICV u installed is proubly a dud as well.
Hi everyone about the 6 months before mighty car mods did their 1jzgte conversion into a Cressida i did mine ready for it to be a daily after i got off my P's. All has been well and good until recently when the idle air control valve plays up when the motor is at operating temp. As an example of the situation i would go the the shops to grab something to eat, come back to my car after letting it sit for up to 1 hour or before it becomes cool or reading below 1/4 on the coolant temp gauge. It would then start for a few seconds reach idle and then die. i would then have to disconnect the plug off it and tap the sensor with a screw driver and restart. the revs would then pick up to 3000rpm then i would turn it off reconnect the sensor and then start, most of the time this would fix it but sometimes i would have to repeat this process. i changed the sensor with another i had off a spare motor and it fixed the problem for about a week and has happened again but not as bad yet. my question is can i delete this with running a stock ECU from a soarer or is there any other solutions to fixing this problem. kind regards Nathan

ok will do
would it also play up if coolant was not running through it ?
