I try to stay clear of most those ecus
except for haltech, and maybe ,microtech,
others just give me to many headaches I wont go into

ive just bought an arduino mega board starter kit and a Bluetooth shield and the can bus shield
I want to try get gm canbus to talk to Nissan or Toyota canbus and vise versa
just I don't have any spare time until end of july so its a slow process

plus I need to get my workbench build to I can have a 1uz vvti loom and gm l98 loom spread out and catch data from both and try convert one to the other

1uz vvti have no can bus at all. It's Toyota's proprietary MPX instead. You would find some info on it in my appropriate thread. I could advance in decoding UCF21 MPX data to the point I can record a signal, load it into PC-running software and determine water temp, gear position and other stuff that normally feeds the dash. However I'm time limited, too.
