Fuel return line i think. You should be able to trace the hardline the hose goes onto up to the fuel rail.
Putting my 7M back together, been on the TSRM and hose diagrams but still can't figure this one out.
It comes straight out of the block, I think its the block oil breather, but not sure where it goes.
There is also a hose connection under the plenum that looks like the same size but the hose isnt long enough to reach.
Should there be a catch can inbetween that I am missing?

Thanks for the reply,
Its not the fuel line, it is very close to it though, it is coming straight out of the block
The photo is from google, maybe I have circles the fuel line by mistake but on my motor its definitely coming out of the block

There are no hoses out of the block on that side bar the crankcase breather. The only water related activity on that side is the knock sensor.

Hmm ill have another look tomorrow. What do you reckon about the hose fitting on the underside of the plenum? Where the yellow arrow is

And i found its connection on the iscv. +rep'ed
Now for the hose connection on the underside of the plenum, near the cold start injector, does it connect to the steel water line that runs around the back of the motor?

There is a small funky shaped hose that connects the iscv to tb.
I cant think of any other connections next to the csi, although the TB water connection is pretty close
