Default Weird home signal on my Haltech E8

Hi all, I have an E8 installed in my celica, and while it was professionally tuned I'm trying to learn more about the tuning process so that I can perform my own tune ups. I logged a few of the data outputs and noticed something odd in the hal effect trigger signal. What is the flat spot that appears both in the home signal and the trigger signal?
