Advice required. Im rebuilding the engine in early toyota coaster bus 22r carby.any sensible suggestions to extract more torque from it.thanks

I don't know a lot about the 22R motor, but I'm guessing you want to keep low down torque being it's in a Bus, so my suggestions would be to keep it quite standard as most mods are aimed at mid to high end power, unless you put a small Turbo on it which will give you a lot more low end grunt with the higher comp ratio, no easy job on a Bus though I'm sure ..
