It can be done with even agricultural MSD ignition equipment...
Just needs a second rev limiter activated in conjuction with timing retard. So bring timing back to around zero at say a 5000rpm limiter and cracks and bangs aplenty!
As above most aftermarket EFI happily supports antilag as an output option for all the fun!

Anything that gives you a spark cut rev limiter with some adjustability will do it in a nut shell, not well but if your shooting fire it will spool a turbo.
Aftermarket ECU's will do it far better as they will pull timing way back with a few other tricks (fuel maps, ignition cut etc) to help.
It is not particularly nice on your turbo or exhaust, wouldn't try it on a journel turbo.
I used to run an autronic with antilag and rotational idle
was pretty good back in the mid to late 90s when I had it as not many knew about it back then
pretty easy to set up with an aftermarket ecu. ideally you want a clutch switch set up on the car, makes configuring antilag mode much easier, rather than playing with buttons n shit. you then adjust the amount of fuel enrichment and spark retard to get the desired results.... you can have it working with a wheel speed sensor so that you can get true antilag - antilag happening whenever you are moving and off the throttle rather than just when stationary. if you have an electric throttle actuator you can also get it to crack the throttle to help load the engine up for even faster spool. just depends how much functionality is built into your ecu.
Curious about just how bad antilag for launch only so launch control to build boost. Is for turbo and engine. Would only use it like 50 times a year but all the same don't want to be rebuilding turbos and heads every 12 months. So how bad is it??

Any decent aftermarket ECU should be able to do launch control (without low-tech tricks like spoofing the coolant temp sensing circuit) - either as a multi-step limiter or full featured launch control (e.g. including traction control, mappable boost control, etc).
In addition to wiring in the ECU, you'll need a clutch switch (like a brake light switch) and the expectation that your clutch & turbo will have a shorter life. Anything that ignites huge amounts of fuel with ATC timing will hammer away at the zorst turbine (and coincidently the CAT) mercilessly.
Also, it is possible that the stock AUX AIR (idle speed control) valve may not flow enough air if used in an anti-lag mode.
Steel rear wheel as a minimum with a strong preference for Inconel or titanium if you want to do it more than a few times.
