Default Corona MK2/ MS6/7/85 front suspension

    Hi all

Can anyone answer my question, that are any of the above suspensions interchangeable??

Ie, can i take the wisbone setup out of an ms85 crown and put it into the mx10 corona?

Alternatively, can i put the ms85 wisbone setup into an ms65??

    Thanks Guys
    Blake

Don't know about ms85 - ms65, But neither will go straight into the Mark II. Afaik the control arms etc in the Crown bolt onto the chassis, Where as the Corona has everything mounted to the crossmember.

Can I ask why you want to change the Corona suspension?
Bushes etc hard to get? (I've just been down this path)

    Cheers
    Phil

    Ah, lol!
Well ms65 stubs go into an ms55, maybe they would swap vice versa?
I think falcon XD? stubs go onto an ms55 to give a brake upgrade and 1" spindle drop.
Maybe that would work on the ms65.

I just picked up a pair of hubs from the wreckers when i needed mine.
Of course they aren't quite that easy to get hold of now

    Cheers

The ball joints might be the same, Definately worth a try. Might have to look at the difference in steering arms though. Altering this position may induce bump steer.
I wonder if Cambelt or Gianttomato have tried something along these lines?

Im sure MS 65 hubs will bolt straight onto the MK2 stub axle.Another Toymodder, Gianttomato(GT) has done this conversion on his MK2.
    Cheers Brett.
