fwd manual box suite 3vzfe? source from any other cars?

Just wondering which gearboxes suit which engines. Putting a 3vzfe into a 2vzfe powered sv21 camry, of course it is auto.
I have access to a few other toyota camrys but dont know if any of the other manual gearboxes will fit the 3vzfe.
Does either the s51 ( sv21 4 cylinder manual trans ) or the manual trans from a 1mzfe powered camry fit the 3vfe? Thats the 2 options i have at present.

e153 or e53. sv21 used an s53, may bolt up to 3vz/1mz but can't recall for sure. wouldn't want to use that anyway. worse case scenario use a s54.

1mzfe and 3vzfe's both came in manual for 92-96 camry's. and that's all i remember. pretty sure they did too for the gen4 97-2000.

S54 comes out of the MR2 SW20, but the shifters linkages are on the wrong side for Camry.

Not too worried about heaps of strength, i dont drive it hard, just dont really like autos.

S54 / S53 are not as strong as the E153 / E53 gearboxes, but if you look after it (no clutch dumps) they will survive.

So can anyone tell me if the gear box on the 1mzfe will fit the 3vzfe? Like bellhousings the same?
Just dont want to go to the trouble of pulling these boxes out if i cant use them.

Manual gearbox from a 1MZFE will fit the 3VZFE, they share the same bell housing bolt pattern and pretty much any S or E series gearbox that came from a 3S/5S/3VZ/1MZ/2GR motor should fit, pending clutch/flywheel arrangement. Manual gearboxes from a 1MZFE Camry are pretty rare since 99% of V6 Camry's are auto, but you can snag one occasionally (usually with a whole Camry attached)

Yeah i have a mate that owns a scrap metal yard, as of late a few camrys and celicas have been popping up. As soon as i seen the 1mzfe manual camry arrive i told him to put it in the " non crush " pile lol. Same place i got my wifes XV10 camry and my v6 sv21. Plus also scored a healthy gen1 3SGE from a celica to put in my 4 cyl sv21. Added bonus is i dont have to pay for anything lol.

I scored a '97 ( newer gen) 1mz manual Camry from the salvage auctions for $500 a couple weeks ago. Conquest with 170k on the odo. Spent about 2 hours on it today and it's good to go for rego.
