    Default 1jz single turbo questions..

    hi there. just putting a 35r on my 1jz. non vvti just wondering where do i connect my water lines to. can someone just upload an image and circle it for me as i cant seem to work out whats what. thanks.

    also just wondering what do i do with all the extra lines left over from the stock twins. ive tried googling but without images its hard understand what some people are on about

    you can connect one water line to the top water inlet and block the 2nd on off. i joined the other end of the water to the line that connects near the thermostat, block off the back one near the fire wall.. same with the oil feeds in the side of the block you will need to block one of them also

    which lines do i use for the coolant? do i have to modify the inlet nipple to suit the lines?

    I'm doing the same conversion at the moment. Here's what I've done.

    On the top radiator outlet from the head I removed both of the copper fittings. I had a speedflow threaded bung welded over one and blocked the other one with a bolt and some sealant.

    On the metal water line that runs around the head, I had one of the outlets crimped and brazed closed.

    So your lines should run: From the top radiator outlet to the turbo, out the other side of the turbo to the copper fitting at the back of the water pump.

    I bought a fitting kit similar to yours, I didnt end up using most of it as I went with speedflow fittings instead.

    Heres some photos of my setup thusfar
