I have to say mine are quite stiff for the road, I've yet to take it to the track or a spirited run up the mountain to try them completely. But it has completely changed how the car runs. The only issue i have wit the dgr rear springs is that they are larger than the factory ones, so the adjustable spring plate is also larger than the factory one. In which you are limited to how low you can go, unless you cut into the chassis slightly. I don't believe these small cuts will alter the car at all though, it just gives you your full adjustment.

    Hi gojira,

I have purchased the same DGR kit as you and have fitted the front without any issues. I have however had a few issues with the rear setup where the springs supplied are a larger ID causing the top hat to not fit correctly in the rear spring tower on my TA22. The bottom of the spring also doesn't quite locate on the diff properly because of the sprind diameter.

I took a few rough measurements and found the following variations:

The ID of old springs = approx 950mm, and the ID of new = approx 1050.

As you can see in the below image the new springs are larger:

Did you have such issues with yours? I have gone back to the supplier however they claim that I have received the right kit..

I have also noticed that you have your top hats adjusted pretty far out, is this just due to ride height or doesn't the adjustment screw fit in the tower correctly unless in this position?

    You help is appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Rob

    Hi Rob,

I run the dgr set up on the rears. I've also asked gojira about it, and he said it doesn't sit on the location on where the diff is. It although under compression it sits fine. He has tracked his car and I also have and I don't believe either one of us have an issue. The only issue i have is the top and I can't adjust the height to go lower because it fouls against the chassis.

As for the fronts I can't speak for them as I don't run them.

    I hope this helps.

    Tony

    Hi Tony,

Thanks for the response. It's a little disappointing that you don't get the full adjustment of the rear springs due to it fouling.. I wonder if the parts supplied by DGR were the same diameter as the original spring, if it would fit top and bottom allowing proper height adjustment or whether modification is still required??

I might see if DGR have anything else that may work...

    Cheers,

    Rob

The dgr spring was larger than the original. I believe its so it can fit the adjustable plate. I'm just going to do two small cuts on each side of the chassis and it shall be adjustable again. Have you driven on it yet? I think the rears are not as stiff as i thought it would have been with 8kg rears.

Nah, I haven't driven with the rear springs in yet. I don't really wanna cut the inner guard to fit the spring adjustment, I'm thinking of perhaps spacing it down further but not sure yet until I know the final ride height.

Little annoying but I will see what can be done to make it work..

I guess that's true. Atm I'm partial with the height of the car, I think it needs to go lower. I just need to complete my flares install and then get wheels to fit and then adjust the height.
