Gojira, have u had a chance to test out the coilover setup? I'm looking at the same setup front and rear.
Cheers Rob
I did test the coilovers at a recent sprint event - they have completely changed the handling of my car. Previously I had lowered pedders springs with std front shocks and koni reds at the rear, 24mm front sway bar and a welded diff which resulted in a lot of under steer and body roll. Now the car feels a lot stiffer and wants to over steer, which is a nice change. I can't tell you how much 'faster' they made my car as I wasn't able to accurately compare lap times between the set-ups due to weather, new tyres, clutch problems and driver error. For the price, amount of adjustment, ease of install/modification and quality of the product so far I am happy.
Yes the pictures they use on the website and eBay listings are generic, the rear is a separate spring and shock (both adjustable).
Awesome thanks!
Excited to get some, I already have t3 front coil overs. So I'm hoping they will sell me rears only.
Unreal, thanks for the feedback gojira, I have a kit on its way!!
Do the sell the rear kits on there own? haven't found it on the website
SR20DET TA23
Apologies for bring up an old thread but i was wondering if this coilver kit work with the Hiluz, Pug, Corona brake upgrade?
Also how do you find the 7/8 spring weight compartive to the more conventional 8/6, does it have to do with weight balance of the car, or even the fact that once the driver sits in it throws out the weight balance again?

also interested in peoples thoughts on the 7/8 spring setup!
is it any good for road use? given mine is quite a long way from being practical but i dont want to break my spleen =p
also any thoughts on softer spring rates with bigger swaybars?
cheers
i reckon 7/8 would be hard as nails
i run 6 / 4 with my shockworks coil overs and that provides masses of grip and a nice ride too
i wouldnt want any stiffer on the road
yea i was planning on 7/5 but cant seem to find a set for the ta22 anywhere
where'd you get your shockworks ones from? or were they for another car and you made them fit?
Shockworks is a suspension company, you can them off google or fb. I was quoted 1.8k for the front setup only as they don't make a rear set up. As for a 7/5 set up the best way you can do it is go custom made(weld on unit), such as ajps, t3 (ground control) or otomoto.
To what I've been told you can run the ae86 bc or hsd coilovers in the front also. Full set is made by DGR with a spring rate of 7/8 which is slightly odd. You can also go 100% custom from ceika suspension.
As my ta22 won't be really a daily or cruiser, pretty much track only. I'll probably be running 8 or 10 kg fronts and the 8kg rear with koni race shocks.
Last edited by Tonyger; 01-11-2013 at 11:01 AM. Reason: Wrong spring rates
shockworks fitted their rear adjustable damper to my ra23 as well as their complete front package
the only thing that didnt fit was the adjustable spring perches for the rear spring
the whole package is worthy every cent
wow this ceika company is awesome!!
ive been looking into digressive shocks but cant find a great deal of info on them.. im thinking theyd be ideal for street use from what ive found
can anyone confirm this for me?
cheers
Hey guys has anyone got any updates on how these coilovers ride? Any issues so far?
