Not quite there, but 7m head studs are 12 x 1.25 and 110mm long.
Given that most Toyota's will run the fine M12 thread maybe a different engine's head studs that are slightly longer will do the trick?
Hi Guys,
I am currently putting my new 3TC bottom end back together with my custom stud girdle.
ARP of course do NOT have a listing for a main stud kit for 3TC let alone one with custom stud girdle...
As most of you probably know the thread and diameter size is the same for the main bolts as for the head bolts - length is different. This is an M12 bolt x 1.25 pitch thread. For my application I need a stud with 120mm to 125mm length and it needs to have the 1.25 pitch thread both ends!
All of the ARP individual studs listed in their catalogues have 1.5 pitch thread on one end which of course suits the American domestic V8's but not my beautiful little Toyota.
Can any of you confirm if there are any other Toyota engines (make that ANY make of engine) with a bolt/stud which has the required length and thread pitch that I can use for my main stud girdle fasteners? ARP do not provide a decent specification listing of their range of studs currently in production but only by engine and application. I have in the past emailed ARP with no useful response being received other than to call my Australian representative who seems incapable of doing anything other than reading from the same unhelpful catalogue I currently can view online...
Cheers,
Jason

There is no substitute for PUBIC inches
Never late in an x8
Thanks mate,
I am struggling to lay my hands on a precise listing of the available lengths of ARP studs with XYZ diameter/thread pitch/etc...
What you have there gives me good hope that there will be an available stud to identify!
Cheers,
Jason
