Immobiliser?
So we've hit a tree with the front driver side corner, the car started fine after that. We started removing everything in that corner to prepare for it to be fixed before someone decided they wanted to purchase the whole car as is. We have plugged everything back in (all electrical connectors were removed), and now the car won't start. The only thing that happens is the hazard lights will flash about 20 times (havent counted, but seems about right), and then take a break for about 5 seconds before starting up again. I have run a diagnostic on the car, and it brings up no codes. Any help hugely appreciated
My cressy which was fitted with a alarm/Immobilisor would do this if the battery was low.
Brum, was going to be a billy cart ,now has motor and 6 speed+++

make sure u plug fuel pump resistor wire back in its aorund drivers front inner guard area
THe immobiliser has been switched off (with its little key), but the hood sensor was removed, if that makes a difference?
All of the wires are plugged back in around the drivers inner guard area. But i think if fuel pump wasn't working it would at least turn over? It isn't even turning over?
We have had a jumper pack on the car as well, that wouldn't get it going.
How would I bypass the immobiliser. When you say remove, I assume you mean more than just disconnecting the electrical connectors??
How would it have ignition cut from just unplugging wires?
Bypass as in find the wires and wire around it or cut it right out.
Resetting the battery or power to the alarm unit, default state when returned is immob on.
Cuzzo, I owe you a drink!!! Thanks. I plugged immobiliser back in, unlocked the car and it turned over!!!
FYI the key only disables the siren, not the immobiliser.
To disable the immobiliser you need to rewire everything as per factory.
What you ended up doing was plugging it all back in (ie, made it work again) then turned it off with the remote (as per normal), and voila, worky.
