JZA80 O/D Light Flashing

Hey People i finally got my jza80, problem being it has a electrical fault the fault being intermittent and hard to trace, driving along various speeds and the o/d light comes on and slowly flashes say 2hz and stays on till you reset your ignition, any ideas, also at approx 120kph + the engine light comes on cheers

This is a common problem which has something to do with the odometer, can't recall the details but if you search on supraforums it gets discussed there frequently.

All I can add is that 2MHz isn't slow
