Default 1uz vvti rpm limit with standard internals.

Hi, I have my rev limiter set at 6500 at present, however it seems to still want a little more as it hits it very quickly! I've researched the subject and not been able to come up with any real answers, only internet gurus who had a mate who knew someone.....
As the vvti has the smaller rods, has anyone got real knowedge of what a reasonably safe limit would be? 7000rpm perhaps?
Real help would be greatly appreciated.
    Mark.

EDIT! I found the thread on mos's 1uz vvti is200, his limiter was set at 7200! Anyone know if that stayed at that level, and if the engine lasted?
