Default JZX100 auto speedo won't work?? Please help...

Hi. I have a Toyota surf, which I've put the whole 1jz vvti auto, wiring, etc, out of a jzx100 into it. The problem is the speedo won't work. I've had a auto elect look at it, but no help. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks

To run 100% factory speedo system for jzx100 engine, you would need abs/trc computer and all 4 wheel sensors installed and properly connected to engine/transmission ecu.
On my conversions, I install a speedo converter. I know there's quite a number of them available in your area.

Engine conversion is when you drive a shitbox which costs a whole LEXUS to own

Which auto elect did u take it too
I can look at it if u want to pay for someone that deals with jap wiring day in day out
as I have all the wiring info for the jzx100
When u say u fitted all the wiring from the jzx
    What do u mean
All behind the dash is that jzx
Or did u just wire in the engine loom into the surf body loom

Is the speedo the jzx or is it the surf
It's hard to understand how u went about it

Yeah thanks guys. I think George is on the money. That I don't have the wheel sensors, etc. I have use the whole wiring loom, engine and dash and the speedo cluster out of the jzx100. I might just have to use a speedo converter.

easy way to tell if it uses the abs is check on back of gbox and see if there is 2 speed sensors
u might have one speed sensor only
if so use a converter on this sensor to drive your speedo
    or get a gps converter
    or a gps speedo

After a quick look. I see one black sensor on the passenger side rear of the sloshbox. With a green and red wiring running to it. Is this what you're talking about?

No those two wires are for the auto to change gears
It's the output shaft speed sensor

U now need to see how your speedo works
If it needs just a square wave input just
Get a speedo box to go from the two wire output shaft sensor
    To the speedo
