Hi,
replaced thermostat after finding temp gauge sitting on high.
tested both new and old thermostats in boiling water, then cold.. old one seemed to remain stuck open when cold..
swapped in new one..
Now..gauge needle is being temperamental ...sometimes reads correctly, other times flicks up to 'high'
Problem now seems to be either temp sensor OR wiring between sensor and temp gauge.
How do I check..
Never used a volt meter.. but happy to buy one and learn..
Cheers - Jed
