Default installing tomei poncams for 1jz vvt-i

i'm not 100% sure on this so im going to ask a few toyota based forums on their advice

I have a set of tomei poncams for 1jz vvti. now id like to know, are they just a direct bolt-in? or do they require valve shim adjustment / any other sort of adjusting when installing?

id like to know if it really is as simple as just swapping them in...

also, is there any special things i should know about for removal of vvt-i from the cam?

    cheers

Yes they are a direct bolt in, you may need to adjust the clearances when you put them in though.
When I put mine in (4AGE) I only had to change two shims, the rest were pretty good.
