    raceflo - well that pretty much sums up why a 1G is a simpler choice for the celica... all i had to do was get some 1GGE mounts, the rest just fell together, no worries with manifolds, plenums, least of all not distributors... might be a worthwhile consideration further down the track though... 1G will do for now

    You can use the 3S in RWD config using the factory ECU without doing firewall mods. You remove the dizy cap and rotor, get some ze coils, a second 3s igniter and a DLI converter. Adds about $250 to the cost of the conversion.

    i'm thinking the benefit of the 1G for a twin turbo setup.. something like twin GT25's oughta keep response nice and quick, and keep a decent top end too...

    can't argue with the straight 6 sounding tops

    mmm the 1 g sounds good but the falcon straight 6's sound like farts goin down the road, i think the 3s would be better for a track car/ daily, you dont really want to be driving somthing that handles like a bucket, 1g would be a cheaper conversion

    didnt the 3sge beams come in rwd in those lexus's? i know its NA but im sure it could be forced with a minimal effort

    acctually... i have to defend the falcon 6... in stock form they sound like farts... but once you get rid of that fan noise, and put on a decent exhaust... they sound... well.. acceptable..

    no it just makes the fart louder nah they sound alright, but the new question is now do ya have a ta23 crossmember? cos they are rare as rocking horse shit

    11:1 compression, VVTi, drive-by-wire throttle... I think the effort required to get a reasonable amount of boost into one of those would be a little more than "minimal".
