What a great day we had! Fucking ace weather!

Well, this was the moment of truth with my car (SR86). After literally rebuilding the car in a month, it was time to see how my efforts have paid off. WOWEE!!!! What a blast it was!
I was extremly happy with the cars drift capabilitys. An absolute dream to drive. I cant wait to get to know the car now

But, it was not that quick at the times/grip side of things. Car just wants to drift I am going to remove my rear sway bar for the next hillclimb. The car doesn't have one at the front, so having the one at the back will be making it even more tail happy..... I still was happy with a low 50...... Once I get a good feel for the car, I do believe it has 47's in it with some suspension tweaks....

And to be completly honest, I may have just been a bit to excited yesterday, to be in a new car being able to have wheelspin on demand (with ease) and the car running propley for the first time since I've owned it. It was naturally hard to resist

I only got a few pics from the day, mostly of Pauls awesome little Mighty Boy, who brought it to this round, while he is still doing the final touches to his AE86.....

Nice Todd! Your beast is nice and clean around the corners, you would die if you tried that in my car.....

Nice work guys. Your vids are a stark contrast to how shit the celica is thru the tighter turns The straight bits look slower, but I would kill for the steering you guys have.

Tell me about it, the "point & shoot" nature of the cars in those vids is something I dream of!

Add me to that list of jealous onlookers - those lines look ideal, and if I took them I'd under or over-steer off the track... Especially the line through "oh-shit" corner up the top...

Think I might be getting a run in a cheater car next hillclimb, looking forward to that. Might have to rip the seats out so I can give the other Todd a run for his money.

I'm quite surprised that the box has lasted this long to Ben, i try to take it easyish on it but i'm strapping a td05 16g turbo on at the moment so who knows what will happen.

Yes, having a drive of Jon's WRX was one of many plans discussed on Sunday.

Looking forward to the next event!
