Feeds regarding these wideband O2 Sensors for 1J

Guys,

I have two brands of reliable O2 wide band sensor kit which i am planning to purchase for my 1JZ non-vvti:

the Innovate MTX-L

the thing is that i like the prosport much but i think it has less technical features unlike the mtx which has a tuning module but to think that the prosport has the UEGO controller module and i really dont have any idea what that is, and to compare both of them the innovate is much less cheaper. im confused.

another is that will i still be needing the my stock O2 sensor which is still connected with the ecu? which means i will be having two O2 sensors on my exhaust pipe?

and with these connection direct wiring on the stock ECU loom? here's the diagram from the factory manual

in the stock ecu setup u need to run the one to suit the 1j ecu so u ned the orignal one in there

and just use the wide band for testing i guess
i would not get one untill u decide what aftermarket ecu u plan to get down the track
then get one that works well with that
u need to run the wide band into its own controller
then signal from the controller to the aftermarket ecu if u plan to run autotune

The Innovate controller has two outputs and each are programable. You can configure one to simulate the factory narrow band sensor, wire it to the ECU and then ditch the factory sensor.

For the only engine I tuned from scratch (carby to efi conversion) I borrowed mate's Innovate LM-1. Simultaneous analog and digital output was the feature I liked very much. btw don't like the whole prosport brand at all.

the easiest i could get is from haltech platinum model, but still prioritize autronic since it is most reliable and compatible with my twin K26 setup. i got you're point mate less risk also.

another positive feedback with the innovate again, kinda wondering why is it much cheaper compared with the prosport but lots of features.

better/wider marketing = more sales = lower unit costs - plus they re-badge their products for other companies.
