Well the hi-stall enabled me to launch the car on-boost, which of course made a massive difference off the line. Shift-kit changed the whole behaviour of the shifts, they where lightning fast and unrelenting, but not jarring (this is a stage 1.5 kit), you lost less revs during a change and I would get pinned back in the seat during changes. You really need to feel it...

If you get a hi-stall, first figure out where your boost comes in exactly then how much you actually want, you don't necessarily want full boost on launch, then you can ask for a fairly specific number. Just remember if its for daily duties to keep it loose and retain lock-up (which limits just how high you can go).

Your making me miss my Supra

Thanks Mole, from the sounds of your explanation the shift kit sounds like a good idea but not too sure about the hi stall. Sounds like its really only for launches and drag racing. Maybe not for me.

Thank you to everyone for their input . I'll start keeping an eye out for a used gtx3071. A new one is just under 2k. Can't afford to spend anymore. If I can't find something shortly. I'll sell off all the single gear and go back to the twins.

Another idea i just thought of is if i could sell of the whole engine i could go for a 1jz vvti.=)
