Go it all together, new radiator in, and the water pump shit itself...always happens in 3's.
Last minute dash to Repco at 3:30pm and now she's all sorted.
Its pretty easy to pull the cover, just follow those guides and make sure you note which bolt comes from where and don't miss the hidden bolt under the dizzy drive in the pool of oil.
Word to the wise, paint stripper works a treat as gasket remover!
Yeah, the corners where the timing case meets the head and the block, I put a big whack of permatex red high temp in there.
Not a drama with leaks, did the same with the front and corners of the sump -seems all good, but time will tell.
That manual is really good for torque settings - esp dizzy drive bolt and crank bolt
