Yeah that is correct. The last GZE clutch I chucked in the bin had the larger splined friction plate.

Received the second bellhousing today so others should have theirs or close to it now.
As for the W58 gearboxes retail price is $880, sorry no discounts. As these are hot sellers the boss (and myself ) knows that there is not going to be any trouble in getting rid of them. We have 5 available.

Yes, I dont have a GZE driven plate as I have a T50 sitting behind a GZE...so I am only talking of my set up when I raised my requests previously...
Sorry I confused the answer to your question as I had my setup in mind rather than your question of GZE same as W5x...

Thumbs down Re: 4A to W Series bellhousing

Ok, maybe I've missed something ... But I just received my Niteparts bellhousing and ... what the fuck? It's the shittyest thing I've seen since the dellhousing!? I'm very disappointed.

I'm going to do some more research and see where I may have got the wrong, I was under the impression people thought these were hot shit?

Perhaps I was listening to chumps with takumi fever?

Photos will follow of Niteparts vs Malaysian bellhousings that I have, as soon as I figure out why my camera will no longer charge.

Here is a picture of mine bolted up. It lines up fine for what I have yet as I said in an earlier post there was a bit ground off the clutch cover already so that would most probably be the section that others say hits. I don't know why it should hit as they should accomodate the housing for the largest clutch.flywheel combo which is from the ZE but who knows what they think.
I don't have a picture of the dellows housing so I cant compare.

I received two bellhousings, one from each group and if I have to be picky the first one does not look quite as good as the second but thats not to say it isnt any good. For what they are I am quite impressed. I believe that these bellhousings have been labeled as the best simply because they work out of the box unlike others that seem to require modifications and such to make them fit or dont line up at all. Just because they dont 'look' like a factory bellhousing is beside the point, they work better than anything else out there. Thats just the impression I have got from what other have had to say about them.

For reference here's a pic of a "dellhousing". As you can see it's more of a barrel shape than a bell shape.

You can also see the awesome features like double starter ears/dirt intakes, trading in strengthening ribs for crude inch thick alloy, the clutch fork hole cut out by a one eyed mongoloid chimp with a sharp rock, that won't fit any kind of dust cover, and the compulsory custom clutch fork & bearing carrier that adds $150+ to the bill (I'm not mentioning the clutch disc that fried at the hands of a 60rwkW 4AGE as it wasn't cumpulsory that I bought it from them).

You can see in this pic how far out the bellhousing sits from the gearbox (the housing in that pic had been painted green at some stage) which wouldn't help matters in a small car likely to have a 4A in it that has a trans tunnel pushing to fit a W5x.

Oh well, at least they made up for it with their customer service!

Oh no, wait a minute, now I remember, that was shit too.

they give away lots of free stickers.
and their bellhousing for some boxes are probably good.

Finally got my housing!! about time, customs wernt going to release it until i gave them proof of purchase!! I think that the housing is ok but the casting quality could have been a bit better. as long as everything lines up and works fine then im not too fussed.

The funniest thing is when you ring Dellow and rattle off a list of problems with what you bought and they act like you're the only one who has ever experienced them LOL.

For the amount of extra fab work that went into my Dellow housing we probably could have made one from scratch with less effort. Oh and mine didn't even fit the smallest of the 4A clutches to begin with LOL nice work

For the last 4A to W58 car we just had a 4A and W bellhousing brought together and it looked like a factory unit once finished, the fabricator said he wouldn't do another one though as it was a pain in the arse.
