Well i know ive been mod owned once - just checked - but phear not - i have a double whammoo of tech goodness coming

Shane - get that " rep" up with your 3sgte/ta22/ rear end for sa22 info swapped over from the other forum - that information youve gathered so far is priceless and should get the points up IMHO - that stuff is gold info and should be rewarded for effort

Cool1 the reason why your rep fell so much is that 10 of those points came from an admin who did not know they were giving 10 points every time they voted. Once this was pointed out previous rep giving was rethought and obviously some of the votes weren't considered to be worth 10 points.

This is the reason why I personally only give rep when it is very much justified.

This just proves they won't listen to any negative feedback, and will punish anyone that tries to give it.

Toymods has gone from a friendly place, to one of feeling like you are stepping on egg shells every time you post as you know all to well anyone can give you bad rep just because they feel like it.. even if it is not warrented.

edit: p.s. yes I am extremely frustrated and believe I have been hard done by. Everyone should be entitled to their opinion without being impacted by it. I did not use harsh language, attack anyone personnally etc. If someones feels they were then I appologise.

I'd just like to pull you up on this one. You cannot see who gave you rep votes however you "know" that three mods or admins gave you bad rep. Well I have news for you if an admin did it you'd lose 10 points. I have had a look at your rep situation and only one negative rep has come from an admin.

Are you saying that an admin gave me pos rep that was worth 10 and then deceided to take it back?
If this is the case I guess thats fine and I couldnt really care less, but that doesnt answer why I have the bullcrap bad rep!
I want to know why I was given the bullcrap bad rep because there was no reason for it! So I want that bullcrap bad rep to be gone!

No, oh frogged one, I think you should behave yourself for a bit, otherwise you'll get belted and lose rep points and then you'll get cranky again, and then you'll be in a never ending cycle of demerit points.

I'd like to keep your wit and technical wisdom around for a while. So, post up some of those wonderous technical articles you have and let us all share in the glory and give you some rep +ve points.

And, just a hint, I think you'd do better to put the whole article on the site rather than just a link. It saves people jumping about the place and puts the relevant information in this site.

Cut and paste is too hard when your dealing with instructions and pictures.
html can be a real problem on forums like this but if it was just enabled in the tech section and possibly the members rides, I cant see there being a problem.

This rep stuff is bullshit as far as I'm concerned.

I have 2 plusses and 2 minuses. One of the minuses didnt even have a reason, though I suspect it was because I joked about fitting a honda vtec head to a 4a and the asshole had no sense of humor. And the other was because I corrected a mistake I'd made in a prior post.
Sure I made a mistake, but if people are punished for correcting a mistake, what's the point in correcting it? I would have been better off leaving the error there.
