Out first event will be a cruise ( not a shit 1 going through 50 suburbs and stopping every 5 mins ) , and seeing what numbers turn out we will take it from there and look into a show event .
Toyota's in the park was great last year , Would love to see that park full to the brim with everything Old and Japanese .
I have a 1974 TA22 Celica that should fit in with a Japanese Nostalgia event. Look forward to seeing details as they come through.
There are plans in the calendar for TECCWA's annual Toyota, perhaps Japanese, car show. I'm not sure where things are at just yet as I've been focused on the sporting events. Will need to get the other Committee members and members to work!
SPIDA - 1974 TA22 Celica (2TGEU 1600cc with Garrett GT25 320HP turbo) Dyno - 168.9HP at 10PSI, 14.8 sec quarter (so far)

sounds very "Old Skool Toys"
naturally, I approve of this![]()
look forward to hearing more about this in the future
Damo
83 GA61 Toyota Supra XX [TRD 83] - 7MGTE Turbo-A inside
83 KE70 Toyota Corolla - the budget build
94 EF Ford Fairmont Ghia [FATFORD] - looks tough, goes slow
64 Chev Impala - west coast lowrider
Hills run? I'm down for that. Dicking about in the city waiting for yellow stickers? Not down for that![]()
Hope to hell this doesn't turn out to be a Rising Sunday repeat. Though, it is a great opportunity for those of us that are doing the right thing to show our enthusiasm, pride in our workmanship, and display the values our community adheres to for the general public to admire.
I wonder if anyone has claim to the name Rising Sunday?![]()

"well I don't know what the world may need, but a V8 engine is a good start for me..."
Rising Sunday wasn't bad was a few Silvia's doin skids that ruined it. This sounds like a great idea tho, get the old girls out of the woodwork so to speak. I'm keen

We scouting some roads and stops this weekend .
I thought Rising Sunday was a great event . Had a bit of everything there which sadly included some knobs that, like always ruin it for everyone .
Please spread the word of this Group between friends and forums , I only have ties to Toyota threads ( toymods , ae86 , rolla.com ) . Would really like a great turnout with depth and variety .
So does the event still have a Nostalia theme (pre '87)?

Yes , If certain models fall on to 88,89 but were mostly manufactured pre 87 then I'm alright with it . But please confirm with me before rocking up at the event ....
We welcome people that are planning to come for a look see and get some pics , if your car is none Nostalgic we kindly ask that you park away from the heard of beasts and if you want to tag along for rolling shoots etc stay near the rear of the stampede of awesomeness.
I can't believe my car just qualifies. Love to be in this. Look forward to seeing the old cars rule the day.
Only just realised this is about a Facebook group. Might be worth mentioning......
Cheers
Matt

sounds good, away from the city sounds good too a bit more of a cruise instead of idiots doing skids around every corner possible and getting everyone yellow stickers from there attention
