Not really a thread worthy question but google images has failed me
doing a 1uz swap in an a70 supra. and just want to know if it matters which way u hook up the two collant lines at the back of the motor.
one goes to the heater tap... the other the heater box/firewall. is their a flow direction that needs to be considered?
if anyone can snap a pic of their 1uz soarer that would be great. cheers

Shouldn't make a huge amount of difference, it'll just flow the other way.
What about the little pipe on the side?
What is that for?
Might only be a Celsior thing, but worth asking anyway.

On my car (and the Soarer donor car) the outlet from the water bridge on the back of the block goes to the to the tap... not sure which way the flow goes though, pretty sure I have a diagram buried somewhere if you need a definite answer?
I'm presuming your little pipe is the one which goes to the coolant reservoir / bubble tank (comes out the side of the thermostat housing). You can block it off - just make sure you bleed your cooling system thoroughly!

Hack, on the otherside of the cooler pipes at the back, there should be a little offshoot pipe.
Can you follow that for me and see where it goes?

Definately a water line.
I just had a look at mine, and it comes off the cross over water pipe at the back of the engine.
No idea where it goes from there. Could be the coolant bottle.
