Sounds like a feasable combo to me mate.
I have never built a turbo 1UZ however my build philosophy's revolve around keeping bore thickness/integrity by minimal oversize and obtaining more engine capacity by pushing it in from the outside and hence a 'low' compression ratio is good.
You havn't mentioned cams however I assume you will have that covered with a proper turbo grind?
The borg warner turbos are my current favorite - the one on my celica seems fantastic so I have 4 more of them to go on my next race car...
Good luck with it - including keeping power DOWN to 750HP at the fly!!!
