I think I saw $21 for an 8 fuse holder with one battery in.
I ordered I similar thing from an auto store down the road today, Its a Narva fuse block (blade
type) Cat no 54430, $18, one heavy battery in 6 outs and rated to 30amp. they have the 8 out
as well for a few $'s more.
have a look at ashdowns website
ashdowns is a well known shop for electrical supplies in sydney
i have bought 5 and 10 fuse fuseboxes
the 10 fuse ones have 5 for batt and 5 for ign
i use these for most older cars
for newer cars i use some from painless which are 15 or 18 fuses
beware of some fuseholders like narva they have the spade terminals on the side
they are ok but for no hassle down the track i alsways like fuseboxes with wires coming of the terminals
i do not like the slip on terminal type
they are ok for most jobs but if any terminal gets sloppy then i get bad connection then u get phones calls and whinging
but if anyone is interested i can order a bag of fuseboxes from ashdowns
Nice work mate looks the goods now, I will be installing these ideas over the weekend.

THANKS FOR THE GOOD IDEAS...![]()

Hi people, I followed the fist diagram that timbo was explaining, to the letter.
problem with mine is when IG is on pump is pumping and when the engine is on
and oil pressure is normal the pump switch's off. then engine stalls. so the diagram
works well only its backwards on my car.<scratch head>
I'll double check what I've done later on tomorrow, I've probably got a wires somewhere backwards on the relays.
cheers.
edit. see post above. tried the first diagram by timbo, no joy.

Hey guys, i think the problem with this system is the standard oil pressure sender is grounded at no pressure and as the pressure rises so does the resistance to ground. So thats why things are going in reverse. Unless ive missed something totally??
+rep for that one hey ....
That makes sensehit the nail on the head i think. theres something to work on. cheers.
I found this the other day, seems like it might be a better option and something worth looking
into. bosch VW fuel pump relay.

cheers.
Sorry no one else seems to have commented on this.Originally Posted by Celica_73
You are a bad man, why would you hook something up to the inncorrect wire, when connecting it to the correct one is in reality no harder. This is going to create a problem for someone diagnosing the problems in your car down the track, it could also mean that you need to use an incorrect fuse to get both working.
