the clutch you have is no good.
The T50 gearbox input spline is heaps smaller than a W58.

Most people get a GZE flywheel for turbo as they are larger, and then you can easily get yourself a GZE clutch to suit.

For reference, there are 4 sizes of 4AG* flywheels that i am aware of...
    1. 200mm. Bigport 4AGE
    2. 215mm. Smallport 4AGE and 20V
    3. 225mm. AW11, AE92 and early AE101 4AGZE
    4. 230mm. Later AE101 4AGZE..... these are rarer, and most clutch places wont believe that this exists because Daiken etc dont list a 230mm flywheel for a 4agze. Places like NPC in brisbane know about it though.

For a 20V though... a 200mm or 215mm 4age flywheel would be fine.... but you'll have to get a custom clutch made up. Again, good clutch places like NPC in brisbane can do this for you.
    ...... butt scratcher?!

Generally agree with Witzl. Though the GZE flywheels can be problematic to fit into some W58 bellhousings.

Also there are stock clutch discs from other vehicles which will suit the W58 input splines and either 200 or 212mm flywheels. I think they tend to come out of vans and old Landcruisers. In any case either off the shelf or stock, it isn't difficult to find a suitable clutch.
I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.

ok so basically scrap what i have and get a 225mm GZE flywheel and aftermarket GZE clutch to suit that flywheel?

mine will be turbo so would like some strength behind it...i guess ill have to get the bottom end re-balanced after this? as the idiot that did all my engine work machined bits out of the flywheel to balance it...

im also getting the bellhousing that mates the w58 to the 4A block. the 225mm flywheel will fit inside this ok? if not, what kind of problems do you get? im an auto elec and can make a starter to suit the flywheel no problem if thats the issue?

thanks heaps for the replies! exactly what i needed to hear...now to sell the aftermarket clutch i previously bought for it! haha

All 4A ring gears are the same. So your starter will work on whichever flywheel you choose.

Personally I wouldn't bother going to the 225mm flywheel, especially if you already have a 212mm. But the choice is up to you. You'll have to check if the 225mm flywheel fits in your bellhousing. All 4A-W58 bellhousings are custom and I think they tend to fit the bigger flywheel, but a few years ago some didn't.

Most good clutch places will be able to find the clutch disc you need on looking through their catalogs, as long as they know the diameter, and spline measurements (or just bring a sample of each). Get a pressure plate that suits your fly-wheel, and you should be sweet.

Sorry dude, but i have 3 questions for you....
    1) wtf is with the spelling? If it is your spell checker, you probably should ignore it and focus on solving your problem with a wee bit more vigilance in regard to grammar if you want an answer from the people that know the answers.
    2) when you say buy another clutch, do you mean a friction plate/disc...or the whole kit (including pressure plate)?
    4)why can't i count anymore?

Haha okay...just re-read What i posted and yeah...sorry about that! I was in a rush so didn't turn out well i guess...

And in clutch i meant the friction plate/disc as earlier post said the pressure plate would be fine to use if thats correct?

And don't worry it's too late/early to be counting! Haha and i do really appreciate all the help i've gotten it's saved me so much mucking around!
