How much is my 2TG worth?

Hey everyone. I have a 2TG which I'm now looking to get rid of due to scoring an RA40 Celica with 18RG for $250.

I originally planned on 2TG/3T hybrid and bored/stroked to 2ltr because I couldn't find an 18RG... Well now that I have one I'm looking to get rid of this engine but I don't really know what it's worth... Could someone please help me out? =) thank you.

It depends on the condition to be honest.

Does it run or is it seized or has broken internals?

Has it got the carbs, manifold and distributor?

If its just and engine and head and needs a freshen up it I think its probably worth anywhere between $400-$600 in my opinion.

Well it's got the intake manifold with solex carbs, Head is missing both cams, 3 inlet valves and 1 exhaust valve. Other then that it turns over by hand, it's in great condition, It's in peices at the moment and in bags because I pulled it apart right when I got it. I planned on getting new valves and longer duration cams so the parts missing from the head never fussed me. No exhaust manifold or sump.

You can probably sell the carbs with manifold for $150 - 200 depending which is a fair price, I bought some for $150 via ebay on a manifold.

You will probably get a little less for the engine in pieces and missing a few bits. Still you might get upwards of $200 -300 for it.

All depends on finding someone who really wants one This is all my personal opinion, take a look on ebay on what things are selling for.

I have looked on ebay... Nothing =/ Ahh well... Do you think someone would pay $500 with the carbs and manifold sold with it?

The carbs usually sell pretty easily if you put them on ebay or here on the forums in the for sale section.

You could sell as a package too. Up to.

Give it a go and see if someone is interested.

considering the missing items you are better splitting the items and selling separately. What head casting is it? Should be either a 88220, 88222, or 88260 as it has carbs
